Bursar, Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge
Corpus Christi College is looking to appoint an outstanding individual as its next Bursar. Corpus is the sixth oldest college in the University of Cambridge and one of the smallest, with 280 undergraduate and 220 postgraduate students, 60 Fellows and 120 staff. Corpus is known for its friendly atmosphere, its long tradition of academic excellence and its Parker Library, which houses a collection of manuscripts of world-historical significance.
Responsible to the Governing Body, the Bursar is the senior financial and administrative officer of the College, and plays a pivotal role in the leadership of a diverse and close-knit College community. The postholder will be responsible for helping to develop and execute the College’s strategic vision. The Bursar has overall responsibility for all matters related to College finances and investments, the management of the College estate, properties, staff, administration, communications and fund-raising. The successful candidate will be elected to a Fellowship, and will be a member of the Governing Body.
