We are looking to appoint an exceptional individual to join Fitzwilliam as the College’s new Deputy Director of Development. This is an exciting time to be joining the Development Office at Fitzwilliam and this is a newly created role. The College has recently created and started to implement a new College Plan, focused on making Fitzwilliam ‘ready for the future’. The delivery of these ambitious proposals will require a step-change in philanthropic activity. As a result, we are in the early stages of initiating a bold new fundraising campaign and the new Deputy Director will play a key role in the delivery of this.
The Deputy Director will be instrumental to the day-to-day running of the Development Office, taking responsibility for the management of the Development team and overseeing the College’s reporting, stewardship, fundraising research and analysis. The postholder will additionally carry a small portfolio of major donors with the capacity to give at the £50,000+ figure level.
