Overview
UCEA represents the interests of universities and higher education colleges throughout the UK. This is an important time for the UK Higher Education sector. The Head of Reward & Research plays a key role advising the organisation on the research strategy across the range of the association’s work, as well as ensuring delivery of a comprehensive programme of analysis and benchmarking activity.
The Head of Reward & Research will take a forward-looking view of the needs of UCEA and its member HEIs in relation to research, data analysis, HR benchmarking and support for universities and HE institutions on reward and employment issues. They will also either lead or support joint work activities with trade unions. The Head of Research is a member of UCEA’s Senior Team and will contribute at a high level to the overall development of UCEA’s work and profile.
The Head of Reward & Research will be expected to develop a significant profile and build strong relationships with senior postholders in subscriber institutions, other agencies/professional bodies, trade union officers, relevant research and policy bodies/organisations and other stakeholders.
