We take pride in the value-added of our degree programmes, the employability and success of our graduates and the impact of our world-leading applied research.
London South Bank University opened the borough’s first-ever University campus – LSBU Croydon – in September 2021. Now in its third year of operation, LSBU Croydon is home to over 600 students and provides workspace to around 15 local businesses. LSBU Croydon hosts state of the art facilities and equipment used to facilitate teaching for our Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Chiropractic courses. LSBU Croydon also hosts the Croydon Innovation Centre, led by the School of Engineering and developed in partnership with Croydon Borough Council.
In an exciting period of development, we are looking to appoint a new Campus Director of LSBU Croydon. Reporting to the University Provost, Professor Tara Dean, the new Director will provide the leadership, vision and drive to take the campus forward. Working closely with the campus academic leads, regional civic entities, local colleges and external partners, the post holder will identify and drive forward new opportunities for strengthening the education, enterprise and innovation portfolio across the campus. They will set the overall direction for the continued development of the campus within the context of the University’s strategic plan and will develop a new campus business plan. Working within a matrix structure, they will provide day-to-day oversight and support for the campus-based teams and the physical resources and facilities, including operations, maintenance, health and safety and security.
Strong candidates will be proactive, innovative, and strategic thinkers with an agile approach to leadership and change management. The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running and operate within a fast-paced environment. They will have strong business acumen and financial management skills as well as experience of working in a higher education or research-intensive environment.
LSBU provides the perfect environment to achieve great things.
