The Senior Advancement & Engagement Lead reports to the Director of Advancement & Engagement, International, and plays a key role in the management of the mid- to high-level fundraising prospect pipeline, with the aim of proactively developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to secure major gifts.

The postholder will manage a mixed portfolio of 80-100 major gifts prospects, primarily based in the United Kingdom. These will include several groups: alumni and non-alumni, other organisations, corporates and trusts and foundations. This position will play a key part in enabling the delivery of the Trust’s 125th Anniversary strategic goals.

The successful candidate will be a proactive, results-oriented and self-motivated individual with a strong drive towards getting out in the field, developing purposeful and effective relationships with prospective benefactors and connectors. You will also be a confident communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills and a track record of identifying, cultivating and soliciting 5-7 figure donations. Above all, you will share a passion for the mission, ethos and values of Rhodes Trust.
