In an exciting period of change for Wrexham University, we are looking to appoint an experienced academic leader with a strong learning and teaching background to fill the position of Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Development).

This cross-institution role represents an exciting opportunity to lead the development of learning and teaching and to support the student experience and the growth of an innovative, diverse and vibrant curriculum, at a university located in one of the UK’s newest cities, Wrexham. The University offering is focussed on excellent student satisfaction and NSS scores with a real commitment to widening participation and access to Higher Education across North Wales and beyond.

The new Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor will work with senior colleagues to develop and maintain excellence across both learning and teaching, playing a central role across the University.

Strong candidates will have a record of excellence in an academic leadership post and will be highly able and enthusiastic. The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running and be used to operating in a fast-paced environment.
