Governors, Middlesex University

The University is governed by a Board of Governors which has overall responsibility for the strategy, direction and performance of the institution.   The Board comprises a range of high calibre individuals bringing a combination of lay and academic backgrounds.    At this time, we seek to recruit Governors from diverse backgrounds with specific areas of expertise in Finance, Further Education, International, HR and People. 


Governors will bring thoughtful and mature contribution to Board meetings, be principled yet innovative.   A willingness to be challenging but constructive and a strong strategic focus are essential for these roles.   Gender balance and ethnic diversity are critical priorities.


The role of Governor is likely to require a time commitment of around 15 to 20 days per annum.  All roles are unremunerated, although reasonable expenses will be covered.
