Harrow School is situated in Harrow on the Hill in north-west London and is one of the best-known schools in the world. Around 830 boys study at Harrow and live in the School’s 12 boarding houses. On the appointment of Dr Michael Gray to be Headmaster of Hereford Cathedral School, we invite applications for the post of Director of Studies with effect from September 2021.
This role at Harrow School is a major management position – equivalent to Academic Deputy Head – and has, as its central responsibilities, curricular planning and implementation of academic strategy.
With outstanding communication skills, integrity and intellectual prowess, the ideal candidate will be an experienced leader and outstanding educator, ideally with experience of operating successfully in a boarding environment (co-educational or single sex).
