Plymouth Marjon University has a proud history as a small university, centred on student success. We have been making available transformative education to students from all backgrounds for around 180 years, with origins in London in the late 1830s and then moving to Plymouth in 1973. We have highly developed programmes in teacher education, sport science and health and well-being, with exciting new programmes including acting and the performing arts, criminology, psychology, and business. Our new Business School engages extensively with partner businesses across the region. Our sports facilities have been ranked fourth best in the country.
