Ali Murphy-O’Connor

I joined Minerva after a fascinating and varied career in independent schools, spanning three decades. I have a degree in Humanistic Counselling from Bath Spa University and, as a counsellor, I have supported pupils and staff at renowned schools over a number of years. Prior to this I have worked in various capacities in other independent schools, including as Registrar and House Parent.

In my spare time I enjoy living in The Cotswolds where we recently moved.  I like to walk and explore the countryside, as well as baking for my family.  I also enjoy spending time on the West coast of Ireland during the holidays, either sheltering in front of the fire from a raging storm or spotting dolphins in the ocean on clearer days.
