Ben Tucker

I have twenty-seven years’ experience in search, focused on organisations with a social mission. I worked for over seven years’ with both Saxton Bampfylde and then Heidrick and Struggles, where I was Partner in the Education and Social Enterprise Practice, prior to co-founding Minerva.

My experience includes advising on the appointments of Chief Executives, Chairs and Board Members and a broad range of other senior roles.

I am Vice-Chair and Chair of Governance, Audit and Risk at Bow Arts, London’s largest providers of affordable arts studios and a leader in creative placemaking in the City.  I am also a Governor of the Institute of Advanced Research in Gujarat, India.  In addition I am on the board and Vice-President, Finance, for IMD Search, one of the world’s oldest collaborative groupings of Executive search firms.

I studied Classics and English at Keble College, Oxford and then undertook an MSc in Organisational Behaviour at Birkbeck, University of London. Outside of work I am a leader of a garage rock band.
